The School-Based Initiatives division partners with school districts to integrate community supports and services into the school setting to address the social, economic, health and emotional/behavioral challenges that may get in the way of a child's success. City of Prospect is a bustling and vibrant community with plenty to do for young and old alike. With programs and initiatives for youth, adults, families and singles, there are physical activities, sporting clubs, recreational and social groups, walking and cycling trails, and much more.

Funded through a $10 million grant by the Province of B.C., CAI provides grants for sound and leading-edge projects that are planned, led and implemented through community partnerships. The initiative aims to take a localized, collaborative approach to helping those affected by mental health and substance use issues in B.C. To accomplish this, the CAI creates networks and encourages dialogue. EVAHEC promotes health careers and access to primary care for medically underserved populations through community-academic partnerships. Loving Steps - A Virginia Healthy Start Initiative Loving Steps is working to eliminate significant disparities in perinatal health experienced by African-American women and their families in order to prevent.

The project's aim was to promote an interdisciplinary approach to creating and maintaining healthy communities. The long-term objectives included improving the performance of local planning and public health agencies by providing tools, resources, and networks to foster improved collaboration. Initiatives.
